More than a year and a half since Ive posted; more than a year since Ive used the email that this is tethered to. Logged into the email to do a little housekeeping, and was reminded that I had Xanga.

Earlier this week I started to fill my truck up with gas, but its a diesel. I had to wait 3 hours in a rainstorm to get it towed from Norwalk to Toledo. So much for scouting out billboard locations. But somehow, the experience wasnt at all bad. I connected with a lonely, hard working, keeps-to-himself tow truck driver that would have been perfectly content on not saying a word for the entire 2 hours journey and got him to open up about his life, and the thing he loves most in the world; his granddaughter. He has worked 24/7/365 for 11 years. 24/7/365/11. He sleeps between calls. He explained that he used to go to Pennsylvania to tow cars from a company in Sandusky. His granddaughter lives on the route between the two locations. He would visit her on a weekly to monthly basis. But now that company has gone under, and he no longer tows there. He has a gift to give her, but hasnt seen her in nearly 2 years. Ever so dedicated to his job, he patiently waits for a call to Pennsylvania.
